The Health Page is designed to give information that I have found to be useful, and I will add new information on it as I find it through my research on health topics.

Be aware that I’m not a trained health care professional, nor a medical doctor.  I’m relating only my own experiences and knowledge which comes from my research as well as my own use of various therapies.  Always check with your own health care professional before trying any supplement or therapy, and further, I think it’s important to check any medications of any kind for side effects, even those prescribed by a medical professional.

General Health

I have found through the years that the most important aspect of good health is the attitude that I have toward the ability of the body to heal itself.   It’s been my experience that we must allow this to happen, with whatever therapies or programs we have found that work for each of us as individuals, and that’s according to our belief systems.

It’s believed that there  are certain basics which are necessary for good health, specifically we need good food, good water, and good air, along with some kind of exercise.  But of course, that’s the problem.  Is our food really good food, nutritionally sound, and optimally available to our bodies?  Consider the use of pesticides and growth hormones in the agricultural field and in our meat production.  And is  our water free of those same pesticides?  Is the chlorine in our water good for us?  But if our water is not chlorinated, what are the risks to our health?  Are there alternatives that are viable for all of us?

So it appears that we must find ways to seek and find good food, improve the quality of our water, and improve the air we breathe.  With these challenges faced and hopefully conquered to some degree, then we need to become aware of the ways to change our attitude toward our health and to allow our bodies to heal.
