To tell you a little about myself, I’m a Californian, born in Cally and have lived almost all of my life here. Though born in the Central Valley I’ve lived the last 45 years in various parts of northern Cally, mostly in or near small towns like French Gulch in Shasta County Hyampom in Trinity County, and Boonville in Mendocino County. At present I live in Lake County, over the mountain north of the Napa Valley.
My family all live near me, including my now 98 year old father (in 2009), who lives alone in a mobile home park for seniors, and still gets around on his motorized scooter, and goes by bus to the nearby senior center two days a week.
I’ve been in education all of my career, both as a teacher and an administrator, after graduation from California State University, with a Bachelor of Arts major in English grammar and literature and minor in theater arts, have taught English as a Second Language online and by phone, and am currently an Educational Consultant, as well as an entrepreneur.
I have many interests, activities and hobbies, but most of all I love to learn and consider learning to be a lifelong endeavor. So, I love to read, and am continually reading self-growth books, inspirational books, historical events and novels, classic novels and stories, genealogy, alternative health therapies, adventure novels, and any other books that capture my interest.
I’ve read the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles, The Secret, and others about the Law of Attraction, and have known for a long time that the Universe we live in is abundant, that we can all have, be and do all that we want, and that we have to change our thinking in order to change our lives in any way, be it our health, our wealth, and our relationships. Some of my other hobbies and activities, past and present, include historical re-enactments at Renaissance Faires, and Dicken’s Christmas Faire in San Francisco, directing archaeological sites, living in Germany for a year, travel to Europe and Central America, horses and riding, ice skating, water and snow skiing, swimming, and cooking, and flying my own plane as a student pilot.
